Theme for May 2011
"A Mother's Love"
May is a time when we traditionally show our mothers how important they are in our lives, or to remember how much we miss them if they are no longer with us. May's theme, therefore is to examine the many facets of the mother-child relationship.

A Long Expected Contest(ALEC) is a contest for Tolkien fandom writers. It will include stories that are rated G-NC17 and can be Slash, Het, or General. In other words - all genre's of the Tolkien fandom! Stories do not necessarily have to include canon characters but must take place somewhere within Tolkien's world as described in The Silmarillion, The Hobbit, or The Lord of the Rings.
