Does anyone have a provenance for this word?
A writer is using it to say 'farewell' in Sindarin and it's not anything I'm familiar with. Don't mean it's wrong - I just dunno. Maybe it's in some esoteric journal someone can access?

Maybe it's in some esoteric journal someone can access? It's a direct Sindarinisation of the Quenya 'Namárië'. I'm not sure if it's Tolkien's own version or a fan translation, but it's phonologically sound.

I think it was put together by Ryszard Derdzinski, according to my scribbles, which are never to be relied on for anything serious.

Ah - I recognise the name. He (and Darth) have spent far more time and effort on this than I ever will - so it works for me And thanks for the pointer!
