Sindarin Equivalent Needed: Quenya Iváre

I've been corresponding with a very nice author on Fanfiction Net after I mentioned to her that come of her names and terms were Quenya rather than the Sindarin that would have been appropriate for the elves of Doriath.

I would now like to ask Darth for the Sindarin equivalent of the name Ivárë, which she used for an original character from Doriath.

Best I can guess offhand would be Ivaerien or Ivaereth. But I'll check other sources at home and see if anything else presents itself.

One more question -- is this a male name? I'm under the impression that the original character is male.

Huh. Well, Ivárë would much more likely be a female name in Quenya. But if you want a Sindarin male name from this: Ivaeron.
