Usually, I either start up Dragon Flame or log into Darth's Sindarin Name Frame site. Between the two, one can come up with some fairly good possibilities. Less reputable, but sometimes helpful is this site, altho Darth will complain about the results from that one sometimes...

I can create a Sindarin name, I just didn't think that would be appropriate for one of the Secondborn.

I believe Tolkien considered Old Norse to be the language of Esgaroth (which he termed "Dalian"), a close kin to the Old English of the Rohirrim. So I would suggest looking up Norse names as Tolkien did from the Voluspa... www.sacred-texts.com/neu/poe/poe03.htmIt certainly also fits in well with the naming conventions of Laketown's next-door neighbors, the Dwarves of Erebor.

This is beautiful. Thank you so much for the resource. I've got the character named, but I want to go back for more reading. What an amazing bit of literature! Thank you!
