I need the Sindarin terms for weights and measures for my Oropher epic -- if such a thing exists. I thought I'd find them in the appendices to ROTK, but I'm coming up a blank.
Specifically I need the term for pounds, as I've said Amdir is shorter than Oropher but outweighs him by several *?*

I'd just use 'stone' though, and avoid the Sindarin altogether. Amdir is shorter than Oropher but outweighs him by nearly two stone.

Shoot! I guess 'stone' will have to do it. That's nine pounds, right? I'm really foggy on those Brit measurements.

But it hasn't always been exactly that, so you could imagine it to be slightly more or less for your story. (For my own zany numerological purposes, I'd assign 15 pounds as the weight in Elvish culture.)
