I am attempting to translate the phrase "Circle of the Trees". This is not in reference to a literal circle of trees, but instead a neighborhood of Ost-in-Edhil. I found rindë to mean circle and aldaron for the plural of trees. How do I put these together? Is it Rindë Aldaronva? Help!
Is there a good resource online that I can access for further help (because I know I will need it!)?
Also, what would be the plural of rindë?
Thank you all in advance!

Almost correct! Rindë Aldaron is a better way to render it, I think. You used the possessive, which implies not that the circle is made out of trees, but that the circle belongs to the trees. Plural formation: Rindë ends in -ë; which forms an exception to usual vowel-final plural formation in -r, instead it's -i as with consonant-final nouns, so you'd get rindi. As a side-note, there also is a term, cormë that probably refers to a circular enclosure (or mound), and might also be applicable for the name you are trying to construct. The best info on Quenya you can probably find on Ardalambion: folk.uib.no/hnohf/quenya.htm. Hope this helps. Another aside, out of curiosity - Ost-in-Edhil, Eregion, Gwaith-i-Mírdain are all Sindarin terms. It doesn't mean that the remnant of the Noldor can't speak Quenya or give their neighbourhoods Quenya names, I'm just wondering.

Hmm, that's a valid point. I wonder, though, if those names are more indicative of Sindarin being the common language among the Elves. Within the city, the Noldor might have their own names for quarters/neighborhoods. Within my vision, I see a high use of Quenya within the city, so that is my reasoning. I wonder if it works though.
