That’s right, it’s time again for the Ardor in August Fic Exchange! brought to you by the same folks who sponsor the renowned Slashy Santa and My Slashy Valentine Fiction Exchanges.

The exchange focuses solely on the Elves, Men, Valar and Maiar of J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium. Maybe it’s Gildor and Glorfindel you love, or perhaps Boromir-on-Theodred strikes your fancy... or maybe Manwë is your main man – from the First Age to the Fourth, from sultry tales of the Silmarillion to romances in the Ring Wars – spread the word, recruit your friends and fellow authors, and have some fun!

I should sign up. It usually squeezes a semi-decent story out of me, kicking and screaming all the way. Oh, the pain and suffering!! Trying to decide! I prefer Elrond/Gil-galad BDSM fluff, but I am afraid to ask for it without knowing who the writer will be in advance. (No. I do not want to write it. Just read it!)

I also should sign up, but I have no time / energy to do it right now. I've already started a Legolas fic and I'm stalled. I doubt it'll feature coconuts, but you never know... ;D

ETA - I'm laughing silly at the coconut prompt. The plot bunny is hopping madly around my head... even if I don't need any more excuses to get Legolas naked.
